Welcome to Saints for the Missions. Majority of the proceeds go to benefit the Peña family and their mission work.
I have many passions in life, but one I can't get enough of is makeup! Ever since I was a little girl I was drawn to the art of makeup. I would stand beside my mother mesmerized as she got ready for work and couldn't wait to place all that goodness of colors on my face. Although I wasn't allowed to wear makeup outside of the house until I was a teen, my parents allowed me to wear it in the house for fun. I would snag some of my mother's makeup and my grandma would buy me cheap dollar store makeup along with giving me her lipstick samples. Some of my favorite memories as a little girl were when my grandma would give me makeup to glamorize my little face. As a licensed esthetician and self-taught Makeup Artist, I've learned numerous techniques and beauty tricks, and I have educated myself via, books, magazines, the internet, and on going education through beauty courses and workshops.
I am happy to serve the Wichita and surrounding area for all of your beauty needs. I grew up in Wichita, and after high school I moved to Steubenville, Ohio to attend Franciscan University. After graduation I moved to New York to pursue one of my dreams of being an inner city missionary. I served as a missionary to inner city teens for five years in both Rochester and Brooklyn, NY. Thankfully, while I was a missionary I met my gorgeous and amazing husband. I never thought I'd marry a New Yorker! We lived in New York City for two years and our two oldest boys were born there. Even though I have a great love for NYC, Wichita is home, so we decided to move back to raise our family. We currently have 3 little boys (age difference of 28 months apart from the oldest to the youngest) and one girl. They keep me busy as a stay at home mom. I also teach religion one day a week at Bishop Carroll (my Alma mater). I do love being a mom and teacher, and I also take great joy in being an esthetician and makeup artist. Please feel free to email, call or text me with any inquires or questions. I look forward to hearing from you!
My brother, my cousins and I as a little girl pretending to be Miss America. The picture doesn't do it justice, but this was the beginning of my career as a makeup artist. I did my own makeup here, blue eyeshadow and all!
